Superchips
A programmer downloads new information to your vehicle’s computer, and stores the original information in case you ever want to go back (you won’t). The real value of a programmer is the work and experience that goes into that new information. You don’t get that expertise by being in the business for just a few years.
At Superchips, our engineering teams adjust all of the elements that affect vehicle power: air/fuel ratio, fuel injector flow rates, and spark timing. We also tune shift characteristics of an automatic transmission for maximum acceleration and a performance feel.
Thirty years ago, these results would have required rejetting a carburetor, reworking the spark advance on the distributor, and installing a transmission shift-improvement kit. Today, it’s knowing how to read fuel and spark maps, knowing exactly where to push the limits, and testing, testing, testing.
There are several key factors to creating a “tune” for your vehicle. First, it has to maximize power without causing you headaches. That means no broken parts caused by the increased power. One of the measurements used in testing is Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT). This is especially critical in turbo diesel applications. ReadyLift torsion keys use manufacturing, materials and tolerances in order to increase the strength of our keys. In addition to forging the keys using high carbon steel, the torsion key to torsion bar tolerances are extremely tight to insure the integrity of the key/torsion bar relationship. These tight tolerances (GM blue print tolerances from bar to key is 17/1000ths) increase the surface area contact between the torsion key and bar, increasing the strength of the overall design and improving functionality.

Running Boards
After more than 11 years of R&D, the Onki line-up of running boards now has 3 distinct models under the American Runner brand. All 3 models are built on Onki's tried and tested heavy duty extruded aluminum sub-frame. With a size range of 21" to 118" and an installer friendly universal bracket system, Onki Running Boards fit 99% of today's CUV's, SUV's, tucks, and vans.
For 2009, Onki is introducing its first black mild steel running board, the Onki Volcano. The Volcano was conceived to be a price point model using lightly textured black powder coated mild steel as the main material with a 3 inch half tube facia for the traditional nerf board look with round replaceable rubber inserts in black or safety orange.
Onki has also come up with a NO-DRILL BRACKET SYSTEM for the most popular late model Acura/Honda, Chevy/GMC, Dodge, Ford, Nissan, and Toyota SUV's and trucks.

The Onki VOLCANO was conceived to be a price point model using lightly textured black powder coated mild steel as the main material with a 3 inch half tube on the leading edge for the traditional nerf tube look with the safety of a full step board. One can say that the Onki VOLCANO is the budget version of our top-selling Onki Nerf Board model, this time with a trapezoidal end cut.
The design and name of the Onki VOLCANO were inspired by the numerous volcanoes and lava flows found in Hawaii. The multiple traction holes strategically laid out on the 6 ½" wide top step of the board look like miniature volcanoes. The openings provide an engineered traction design on the metal sheet itself for basic safety. Additional traction comes from the replaceable black/orange rubber pads that also give the boards a more finished look.
